The ocean may perhaps have a thing to educate us about the pandemic we’re grappling with, in accordance to oceanographer and National Academy of Sciences member Jody Deming. Deming is a member of the Ocean Memory Challenge — a collaboration of experts, artists, and others who are exploring how modifications above time are encoded into ocean “memories.”
