I am Tony Grady, and I am managing for lieutenant governor for Nevada. I am a retired U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and a career aviator. I am a graduate of the United States Air Pressure Academy (Bachelor of Science in astronautical engineering), and two graduate levels (MS in methods management from the College of Southern California, and learn of airpower artwork and science from the Air College, Maxwell Air Drive Foundation, Alabama). I was a USAF pilot and examination pilot. On top of that, I have extensive leadership working experience culminating as a B-2 squadron commander. Following my Air Pressure profession, I flew for FedEx. I am a conservative, Christian Republican who sees the need to have to stage up versus the damaging insurance policies becoming applied by the recent administration.
There are three issues I would like to emphasize in this creating: economic diversity, training and Nevada’s drinking water.
To start with, it is apparent from our COVID lockdown that we will need to diversify Nevada’s overall economy. Complete reliance on gaming and tourism has its dangers. Raises in producing and data engineering will support, along with ongoing awareness to mining and agriculture.
Next, our education program is the critical to our economy’s range and financial long run. There is no area in our instruction process for the malignantly divisive CRT. There is no reasonable explanation for forcing sexual instruction on our youngest, innocent students. These harmful ideologies should be defeated with no equivocation I will battle this head on! We should really be laser-targeted on science, technologies, engineering and math (STEM), and audio vocational education. I will advocate to replace CRT with the “1776 Unites,” and the Cornerstone Curriculum that train a well balanced check out of U.S. history.
Very last, h2o will turn out to be even a lot more critical than it is now. Population development not only puts additional stress on our town drinking water supplies, it also considerably affects our rural communities, which by the way increase to our economic diversity. All stakeholders have to be brought to the desk to guarantee we benefit from this important resource sensibly. My organizational and leadership competencies, additionally my good foundation in STEM education and learning will be an asset going ahead as we deal with these troubles.
