Herrera was honored along with other “icons” at a Delight Center ceremony in downtown San Antonio on Sunday, June 12. Winners involved Mayor Ron Nirenberg, photographer Julián P. Ledezma, transgender activist Leo Tyler Castillo-Anguiano and Dr. Rev. Naomi Brown.
