SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Evolution can be a controversial and sensitive matter in America. Dr. Briana Pobiner will answer this concern in a speak entitled “Participating with General public Audiences on Human Evolution” on June 22 at 5:00 pm Pacific Time.
“Engaging the general public is genuinely a two-way road,” said Dr. Pobiner. “It is really not just about delivering individuals additional scientific facts it’s about listening, becoming respectful, and finding connections.” Pobiner’s method to science education and learning is a end result of her several decades of major instruction and outreach at the Smithsonian’s Countrywide Museum of Organic Heritage Human Origins Software and her situation as a research professor in the Centre for the Advanced Analyze of Human Paleobiology at the George Washington University.
