Local high school students recognized at the College of Education and Human Services’ annual Golden Scholars Dessert Reception

MURRAY, Ky. — Murray State University’s University of Schooling and Human Expert services acknowledged regional significant-reaching large faculty seniors who have been admitted into the education
and interaction condition systems within the university at the Golden Scholars Dessert
Reception held on Friday night, April 8 in Alexander Hall.

There were being 26 college students in attendance as well as their guardians or friends. All attendees
had the prospect to find out extra about the students’ picked out systems, meet up with faculty
and advisors, uncover details on tuition and scholarships, as very well as communicate with

Dr. David Whaley, Dean of the School of Schooling and Human Companies, welcomed pupils

Natalie Copeland, a fourth-yr Human Companies college student, was the pupil speaker at
the Golden Students celebration. She spoke on her experiences at the university and gave the

Tamela Darnell, the Finance, Business and Administrative manager for the school,
and Katie Kriesky, the Event Coordinator, dispersed certificates to the students
in recognition of their successes, dedication to pursuing higher education and their
desire in professions of support.

Through the reception, there had been various school customers and University representatives
out there to communicate with college students about any questions they may have had about their
plans, economic help and other campus assets.
