Midland College pre-K students receive diplomas

The 4-year-old class at the Midland College Pre-K Academy received diplomas and celebrated the end of pre-school and the beginning of kindergarten.

Midland ISD and Midland College have partnered on the Pre-K Academy since 2019. The academy currently serves 68 students. The college recently announced the construction of a new, larger Pre-K Academy and Center for Teaching Excellence that will serve 288 pre-K students on the first floor and house classrooms and offices for MC’s new bachelor-degree program in Early Childhood Education on the second floor. A groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility is set for 10 a.m. May 31.
