National Academies’ Gulf Research Program Awards $5.27 Million to Enhance Understanding of Gulf Ecosystems and Their Interactions with Natural Processes and Human Activities

The Gulf Analysis Program (GRP) of the Nationwide Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medication now announced grant awards totaling $5.27 million for six new initiatives. These initiatives, prepared to span two to three several years, aim to make improvements to understanding of how pure processes and human activities interact to affect coastal ecosystems in the U.S. Gulf Coast area.
