Cortez Deacetis

Hi all people! My name’s Mark Miano and I guide our video clip hub right here at Discovery Instruction, wherever we produce and film exciting digital discipline outings, vocation profiles and other video material

Our staff has been given the opportunity to create something really special this week in advance of the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, and I’m very psyched to share it with all of you.

Discovery Education, in partnership with the Discovery Family members and Discovery Familia networks, is collaborating with the inaugural transition team to produce a brand new Virtual Discipline Excursion. It is identified as ‘I do Solemnly Swear: The U.S. Presidential Inauguration.’ It is premiering on Tuesday, January 19th at noon ET. We’ve pulled in some remarkable friends, together with senators, the Librarian of Congress, the previous Main of Staff to Laura Bush, speech writers for George H.W. Bush and Barak Obama, and there is even a surprise appearance by a significant VIP who has an essential concept for students. The very best component is that we got to function with some amazing kids from Procedure Homefront who will be inquiring these company a sequence of inquiries about the history,  traditions and importance of U.S. Presidential Inaugurations.

On Wednesday, January 20th, we also invite you to tune in to a young children livestream function hosted by Keke Palmer. The livestream will involve exclusive attendees segments from the Library of Congress, trivia and enjoyable information, and of course, the events of the 2021 Presidential Inauguration.

Typically it requires us about 4-6 months to produce a Digital Field Excursion, and we’re accomplishing this one in significantly less than two weeks. So this has been a mad start to 2021! But we love the possibility to produce engaging plans for young ones that is timely and suitable. We all know how crucial it is for college students to be educated on present-day gatherings, and we’re fired up to proceed delivering on that in 2021.
