Ten finalists have been decided on for West Virginia’s 2023 Teacher of the Yr, the state Section of Schooling stated.
The finalists ended up picked from between every single college district’s Academics of the Yr and represent elementary, center and higher faculty educators from all regions of the state, the department explained in a news release.
The finalists are Sarah Bailey of Buffalo Center College in Wayne County, Lisa Bryant of Level Pleasant Main Faculty in Mason County, Charity Marstiller of Jefferson Higher School in Jefferson County, Amber Nichols of Eastwood Elementary Faculty in Monongalia County, David Patrick of DuPont Center Faculty in Kanawha County, Angel Reed of Fairplain Elementary College in Jackson County, Shawna Safreed of Bridge Avenue Middle Faculty in Ohio County, Cameron Shannon of Crescent Elementary College in Raleigh County, Tanya Stewart of Gilmer County Elementary University and Shari Tonkery of Lumberport Elementary University in Harrison County.
